We are going on a Road Trip

In Tucson, we have what we call Rodeo Break, and with Spring Break around the corner, I thought I would show you some of my favorite “Mom hacks” for a road trip.

The first thing is these snacks containers. These are actually just tackle boxes from Walmart and then I filled them with the kids’ favorite snacks. I also added their names on top using my Cricut, but you could also just buy some stickers at your local craft store.

My second “Mom hack” is to fill a bag with a bunch of their favorite things that are easy to do in the car. When I saw this rainbow bag at Target I knew it would be perfect for this.

Melissa and Doug Magic Color Books: We love these books! Mess free coloring and only a few pens.

HydroFlask Kids Water Bottle: Keep the water cold the entire drive and don’t leak!

First 100 Word Wipe Clean Book: All the books from this series are perfect for long car rides. My kids would do this over and over.

1001 Things to Spot of Vacation Sticker Book: Sticker books are the BEST for long car rides. The kids will even do this together!

OOLY erasable colored pencils: These are our favorite colored pencils! Erasable and can’t melt or dry out!

Doodle Boards: These boards are amazing! No extra materials required and can use over and over!

Wipe Clean Usborne Books: My kids love all these books from the Usborne series. I’ve added a bunch of different ones to my Amazon Shop!

Where’s Waldo: Perfect for older kids! Also, I spy is great one as well!

Melissa and Doug Water WOW Books: You fill up the pen and the kids get to paint each page. The pages dry up and they can do it again!

Magnetic Doodle Board: They have little ones and big ones but these are must for on the go!

Imagine Ink Books: I always pick these up in the Dollar Section at Target (I think they are $3). I’m loving this set on Amazon though. Perfect activity to do and. toss!

Mad Libs: My son is super into these right now! We do these as a family and bonus he is learning parts of speech!

Also, since we are in the middle of a pandemic don’t forgot lysol, disinfecting wipes, Wet Ones, toilet paper, tissues, extra masks, hand sanitizer and a travel potty! I promise you ALL of this will come in handy!
