Let’s Explore Space

The Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover is landing today, February 18th 2021! The rover will search for signs of past life and answer the question, “ Was life ever present on Mars?” This is a groundbreaking mission!

My friends and I have put together some crafts and activities to engage our littles on this special day, and really any space day!

All you need for this easy craft is a paper towel roll and a paper cup! First, cup a whole in the middle of the cup. Then, hot glue the base of the cup to the paper towel roll. From there, you can paint it, add stickers, ribbon, yarn, tinsel, whatever you have around the house! My kids had so much fun exploring space with their very own telescopes!

Old Space Toy turned NEW!

I love how Mimi at @lifeoncrosscutway took an old toy and made it oh so cute! This is the perfect spruce up to celebrate this space day!
