St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Kids

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the rainbow (get it), and today I’m sharing some of my favorite activities to do with kids.

Positive Affirmation Fruit Loop Necklace

We all remember making fruit loop necklaces as a kid! I love using these positive affirmation printables from @the.glitter.mom for the kids to choose which one they want to add on.

To make these fruit loop bag kits, grab skinny bags from MIchaels, fill with marshmallow, sorted fruit loops and time with the ribbon or yarn that they will make the necklace out of. These are perfect to use in classroom as well!

Find the GOLD

Rice Sensory Bin

Let your preschoolers be the leprechaun and find all the missing gold under the colored rice. Put out some tools and little plastic pots and they will play with this forever.

Don’t have rice, use beans, shreds of paper, water, whatever you have lying around!

Rainbow Cardboard Craft

If you are like me, you probably have some empty boxes lying around. Cut out the rainbow shape and scraps of different shades of paper. We used a plain, glitter and foil paper. Add cotton balls, white paper or white flowers like we did for the clouds.

Leprechaun Watchers

By: Lar Bailey

My friend, @allformylittles created these adorable leprechaun watchers with her daughter. She used toilet paper rolls glued together and then decorated using sequins, paper, pipe cleaners and yarn!

These are so fun to search for leprechauns on St. Patrick’s Day!
