Let’s Explore Space
The Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover is landing today, February 18th 2021! The rover will search for signs of past life and answer the question, “ Was life ever present on Mars?” This is a groundbreaking mission!
My friends and I have put together some crafts and activities to engage our littles on this special day, and really any space day!
Paper Towel Roll Telescope
Jet Pack Craft
@funfamacademy made these DIY jetpacks out of two paper cups, red, yellow, orange, yellow and blue paper, red ribbon, printed NASA and River logos and hot glue. Little ones would love to make this and its perfect for a doll or teddy too!
Old Space Toy turned NEW!
Toilet Paper Roll Rockets
How cute are these rockets? Melody from @melodyinthemaking made these using paper, paint, stickers, washi tape, yarn and ribbon. I just love the colors she used!
Moon Hanging
Katelyn at @theshowgals made this adorable moon hanging. I love how this is a perfect space craft but how adorable would this be up in any kid’s room.
