April Showers, Brings May Flowers

Looking for a cute craft to do with your little one? My three year old loved making her own rain cloud and singing, “Rain, rain go away.”

Materials

  • FREE Printable cloud

  • cardstock white paper for handprints

  • blue paint

  • strips of blue paper-we used glitter and metallic cardstock

  • paper plate

  • glue

Directions

  1. First, read some rain books and sing "Rain, Rain Go Away.” Some of our favorites are “Singing in the Rain,” and “Rain.

  2. Then helping your little one make blue handprints on the white cardstock. I would make about 10. Let them dry.

  3. Then cut out cloud, strips of blue paper, and handprints.

4.  Then lay everything out to get ready to glue.  You can lay it out however you would like!

5.  Glue everything together.  You can put two holes in the top and add a little hanger.
